Fun in the snow

During Christmas break we didn't make it up north to play in the snow. Luckily the next weekend we got a chance to drive up to Payson and play in it.

It was a wonderful day spent together as a family. We all had a great time. 

Hike at First Water Trailhead

One of Derek's co-workers suggested this hike at First Water Trail-head which is not too far from Goldfield Ghost Town in Apache Junction. It was a great hike to start off this year.

We decided we need to take any opportunity we get to get out and explore as a family. This was an easier hike but the kids loved it. Hard to believe this is January. 

Christmas Day

I'm really enjoying reliving Christmas again.

The picture of Zoe is her finding some panties in her stocking. She was totally embarrassed and went upstairs to but them in her drawer. Maeley loves her fake glasses. 

To say Chase was thrilled to get the Star Wars movie was an understatement. 

The aftermath 

We spent some time in the afternoon at the park. 

It was another wonderful Christmas.  I'm always sad when Christmas is over.
