Disneyland Day 3 Dec. 6

Look how happy we all are. 

Maeley rode by herself because she could. Afterwards she said it was harder than it looked. 

Zoe and I don't like the extra spin on the tea cups while the others do. 

Zoe and I riding Winnie the Pooh while Derek, Maeley and Chase rode Splash Mountain. 

Maeley was brave enough to do Screamin' 

Verdict: She LOVED it! 

Zoe is my little sidekick.

Zoe won this Mickey. She was determined to win something playing the boardwalk games. 

Oh Cars Land, you are incredible. 

Chase's facial expression cracks me up. It was so nice that the kids could ride together which meant Derek and I could ride together. This happened on most of the rides this trip.

This has to be the best Santa picture of all time! These pajamas are from Hanna Andersson. We have had a tradition of taking a family picture in front of our Christmas tree in our Christmas pajamas for many years. My friend sent me a link for these a couple months before our trip and I couldn't stop thinking about how fun it would be to take our picture in front of the huge tree in the hotel with Santa. Derek said no but somehow I convinced him it was a good idea. 

We got many compliments on them. After we had our picture taken we got hot chocolate and sat in the lobby listening to carolers. While we were getting out drinks the carolers over the microphone commented, "The world's most comfortable family has joined us." It was pretty funny. Another lady saw our kids watching cartoons in the lobby and said, "I didn't know we could wear our pajamas and watch cartoons in the lobby." 

Disneyland Day 2 Dec. 5

Waiting for the park to open so we can run to Racers! 

Knowing the Tower of Terror had less than a month left before it closed we made all the kids go on this ride. Maeley absolutely hated it. Zoe didn't like it much either. Chase likes it but in this picture he doesn't seem interested at all. This picture cracks me up. 

We had to take a picture with Walt on his birthday!

Another great picture! Zoe doe not like this ride but Splash Mountain is Maeley's favorite. 

Disneyland Day 1- Dec. 4

To say we were excited would be an understatement. We love Disneyland! 

We left early in the morning so we could still have plenty of time at the parks.

I love walking into the California Grand. The lobby is just incredible and the cast members are so kind and helpful. Walking in during Christmastime is the best! I love the huge Christmas tree.

Happy to have a bunk bed with a trundle this time. 

The excitement is raising!

Fun fact this truck is from Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Ark

Can he look any happier? I think not. What was extra fun for him dressing as Indiana Jones on the first day was every time we entered a park they would see him dressed up and often was called Dr. Jones. He loved it! 

Sunday afternoon was pretty busy and this was the longest line of the whole trip.

"This is Halloween, Halloween Halloween"

The huge Gingerbread house in the Lobby of the hotel. Its real! I should have taken a picture that says how many pounds of icing and gingerbread were used. Its insane! 

Zoe was nervous at first but then she loved it! 

We headed back to the hotel to rest for a little bit so we had the energy to watch the Paint the Night parade at 10:45. This was the only night during our visit to see it.

Maeley bought her first Minnie ears! 

The parade was incredible and we were pumped up by the time it was over so we decided to go on a few rides before the park closed.

Matterhorn is Zoe's favorite ride 

Space Mountain is my favorite. Hyperspace was okay but I still prefer the original.

We had a blast! It was a great first day.
